One of our key focuses at Machine Technology is continual innovation and improvement. We want to be as close as possible to the cutting edge of manufacturing technology in order to deliver better results for our clients.
Recently we have evolved our welding processes to incorporate robotic TIG welding in our repertoire. Robotic TIG welding has in essence become the face of modern robotic welding applications. The transition from MIG to TIG robotics has been occurring across our industry, and we are not the type to be left behind.
Robotic TIG welding presents a number of benefits in comparison to its MIG counterpart, not the least of which is overall cost effectiveness. It cuts down on the amount of gas required during the welding process and is capable of welding a wider range of metals, meaning more can be done with less. TIG welding also significantly reduces the amount of spatter and smut left on the weld, which in turn reduces the need for post-weld cleanup.
From a process standpoint, robotic TIG welding is maximised for speed, accuracy, consistency and quality, making for more precise and concise manufacturing. Its versatility in application negates the requirement for multiple types of equipment, as a variety of welding tasks can be performed with this one piece of machinery. This helps us in turn to cater to a broader pool of clients.
Our pitch to clients is often simple; we can offer a better solution than our competition, and our incorporation of robotic TIG welding in our manufacturing process helps keep us true to our word.
