Global Market Penetration Strategy for FountainLine

Materials Handling

FountainLine

FountainLine aimed to adapt their line marking machines for the European market to expand globally and increase market share. Lacking internal industrial design and manufacturing capabilities, they partnered with Machine Technology. Our modifications not only met European standards but also positioned FountainLine ahead of its competitors, enabling successful market entry and expansion.

We have built a high performance line marking solution for our partner Fountainline which has encompassed both European and Australian manufacturing standards and allowed us to penetrate global markets from our production base in Sydney.

  • Problem
  • Solution
  • Outcome

FountainLine needed to adapt their Australian line marking machine design for the European market to enable global expansion and greater market share.  Fountainline had no internally industrial design nor capability to manufacture.

Machine Technology took Fountainline’s existing Australian design and modify its specifications to not only adhere to European standards but to enable the unit to deliver over and above its local competitors.

Fountainline was able to sell the modified unit into a major customer in Europe and further build that relationship to enhance paint supply as that customer become a supplier.  Fountainline subsequently has been able to further position its traditional Australian unit into Europe.
