At Machine Technology, we have developed and evolved our business model to accommodate for every step of the manufacturing process. We possess the capabilities for design, parts production, product assembly and delivery from within our own facilities, providing a steady and consistent end-to-end line of manufacturing.
This model was inspired by a change we noticed in the backgrounds of the clients we were working with and those whose business we were aiming to obtain. Conversations which were once held with clients of engineering backgrounds, who had a solid understanding of design and manufacturing principles, were now being held with clients from accounting and economics fields. As such, the nature of these conversations shifted from fundamental processes to overall efficiency and costs. Some of these clients did not have their own design department, which emphasised the need to have one of our own. Plus, with an extensive understanding of our own manufacturing capabilities, we could better recommend design and production strategies to these clients.
From this sprung our end-to-end or inclusive approach, which ensured that every step of the process was in sync with the next, keeping production in a smooth and efficient flow. Common issues in stock overflow, design functionality, product assembly, communication across stages of production etc. can be negated because we always know what is being made, how to make it and what quantity is required. When multiple parts are arriving from multiple suppliers, these issues will more frequently arise and slow down production.
We are also able to cater to a broader range of clients because we can tailor our services to whichever point they are at in the production process i.e. those with ready made designs, those who require design modifications and those starting from scratch. Our synchronised end-to-end approach is what keeps both ourselves and our clients a step ahead of the competition.
